My name is Monique and I’m a family nurse practitioner. I earned my BSN from Biola University and my MSN from Graceland University. Prior to becoming an FNP, I spent 8 years as an emergency room nurse. After seeing so many negative outcomes of health complications, I decided I wanted to try to partner with patients on their health journeys to prevent these complications if possible. I’ve enjoyed my time as a nurse practitioner in both primary care and urgent care. Not only do I utilize my knowledge, resources, colleagues and evidence based medicine, I truly wish to go above and beyond to make sure my patients feel seen and heard. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kiddos, trying new restaurants, adventuring outdoors, art, spin classes and lifting weights. I don’t expect your health journey to be perfect, I just hope to bring joy to healthy living so that you can be your best self.
