Hello, I am Dr. Shah. After completing my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, I started at Chicago Medical School where my passion for primary care was born. After training, I decided to experience travel medicine with my wife and worked at Guam Memorial Hospital which serves the indigenous community of Guam and its neighboring Pacific islands. There, my wife and I became advanced certified in scuba diving and fell in love with the life and vastness of the ocean. After moving back to Chicago, I practiced primary care medicine and worked on improving healthcare delivery at Northwestern Medical Group. I enjoy forging strong relationships with patients and helping them achieve their specific health goals. For me, the foundation of any patient relationship is trust and making each individual patient feel that they are genuinely cared for. In my free time, I love playing basketball and know how to juggle (though not at the same time!).
